Stretch Films

The latest technology, allows the user to pre-stretch films up to 360%, thus reducing noticeably the weight of film needed per unit load, while increasing the holding power. These stretch factors cannot be achieved with lower grade, inexpensive films. With lower grade films, less pre-stretch can be tolerated resulting in a higher weight of film per unit load, lower holding power and more per unit load.

Goldpack offers two types of quality films, both octene based, both produced with strict tolerances:

Hi Stretch films
Produced with cast extrusion, can be pre-stretched up to 250%. They cover most of the normal needs when using semi-automatc stretch wrappers.

Blown extrusion films .
Can be pre-stretched over 300%. They are the optimal films for the fully automatic stretch wrappers.

Film Thickness.
Both these film qualities are produced with different thicknesses, from 15 micron up to 35 micron, in order to adapt the best film strength to the requested holding power. In case of long outside storage, blown extrusion films have an increased UV resistance.

Always consider the cost per unit load wrapped and secured: Combining quality films with optimal pre-stretching technology will give an overall best cost per load.
